Since I am a couple days behind on the blogs, they are not appearing in order. Make sure you scroll down and double-check you've read them all. You wouldn't want to miss out!

Guten Tag, I am enjoying your blogs daily - had to laugh out loud a couple of times. Keep on writing, brings back memories from long ago. Happy Birthday Doug. :-)

I love the history lessons. Maybe you should have been a teacher.

Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.

Love, Mom

P.S. Happy belated birthday Doug.

I would have loved to be a teacher...or a principal just like you. And they could call me Headmistress Weissenberger and they would be trained in all kinds of subjects, including the art of sitting still.... haha

Hi Liane - this is a great way to learn about a city / country / culture (?). Did you find a good bakery and butcher yet?
Love your style. . . . . Oma
